A Walk Down Television Memory Lane

September 11, 2008

I’m a big fan of the 80’s and early 90’s, that’s no big secret. And I’m not the only one. In fact, I think there’s enough of us out there that we could and should have our own television station. There’s MysteryNet, Thriller, Lifetime, and Spike. Why can’t we have ThirtySomething ? A television station that rebroadcasts all of our favorites. All 80’s and 90’s all the time.

Now, if I could handpick the shows on the line-up which shows would I pick?

Hmmmmmm…..That’s a tough one.

Definitely 21 Jump Street. That show started my life-long crush on Johnny Depp.

Next, I’d probably choose Knots Landing. My first soap. Donna Mills’ Abby was always my favorite.

There would be a weekly Mystery Science Theatre 3000 movie….Everyone needs a little MST3K in their lives.

There would be a comeback of Friday Night Videos……

And there are some others, Miami Vice, Growing Pains, Who’s The Boss, there could be a new Love Connection.  I’m definitely liking this idea. Maybe I should write a letter to the cable tv powers-that-be. It’s definitely something to think about.

For now, I’m off to order add some season DVD’s to my wish list!

Peace!

I’m out!

Hi! People give you the awards and then you give them to other blogs you like. I actually have one or two to give you, so if you wait until tomorrow afternoon, I’ll have them for you. What you do is click on the award, copy it and then use it one your blog to give to someone else.
